I have talked at length about why cognac accessories will always be my favorite - they look better with age & match everything! I am still in shock at the price I found these Spring staple heels! (currently at sale on Kohl's & all sizes stocked!)

I just added this tiny purse to my line-up for Spring & can't get enough of the amazing craftsmanship that Dagne Dover puts into all of their products. This purse might be small in size, but there is no scrimping on the organization that this baby packs! This is one of their limited edition Spring colors & it is a great way to inject personality into any outfit!

As I am always on the lookout for new brands to feature here on Here&Now, I have to share with you a new-to-me favorite: ASTR, available from Nordstrom. They are killing it with their bold prints & modern cuts! Next on my wish list: this hi-low wrap dress & a polished romper!

Sunday Shopping: Old Navy Spring

Old Navy is one of my top go-to stores - for basics & on-trend styles for each season. For Spring, I think Old Navy is striking the perfect chord between good looking staples (this trench & this updated chambray top come to mind), while also offering trendy pieces that don't look too one & done (I was just talking about these peplums & the chambray jumpsuit is giving me all the feels!)

I also really appreciate how their Spring collection looks a lot like a capsule wardrobe - allowing you to easily imagining mixing and matching the pieces together to create new outfits, over & over again!

I put this collage together imagining the pieces that I would use if I was going to put together an Old Navy Spring Capsule wardrobe. And I'm also trying something new with today's round-up -- you can click on the image to be taken directly to the landing page for that piece! Happy Spring Shopping!

Rose & Serenity

dress: ASTR Lace-up bell sleeve dress (I'm wearing the XS)

shoes: Mora Malia mules c/o Hushpuppies

clutch: convetible "Carly" clutch c/o Gigi New York

scarf: vintage Vera scarf (loving this similar vintage Vera style for $30 & this one is only $15 (love me some Etsy finds!), although my heart is telling me that this Alexander McQueen scarf is totally worth its almost $400 price tag & who can resist the colors in this Kate Spade cutie?!)

When the people of Pantone decreed that "Rose Quartz" & "Serenity" would be the colors of the year for 2016, I was, to be honest, left scratching my head in confusion... they seemed so grandma-ish & outdated. And then I proceeded to purchase multiple things with these "colors of the year" as the main colors - so, I am officially admitting I was wrong. Pantone was right. And these colors are the best.

These Hushpuppies mules are everything - the varied colors of blue are so fun! I have not only worn them with this dress, but also jeans, & love the results!

This dress has a fun retro vibe with the bell sleeves & lace up detail - it also comes in black if you have yet to embrace the "rose quartz" craze!

Have you added any rose quartz or serenity to your wardrobe lately?

go green

Today's post sponsored by XFINITY, but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure.

Nashville is expecting the arrival of Google Fiber later this year, & in the interest of making sure that we have the best option in cable service, my husband & I have been learning more about our current provider, & sharing some feedback about our experience. Check out my first XFINITY review post here.

Ever been locked in a heated battle over what to watch? Our house knows this struggle oh too well - husband has to watch his beloved Portland Trailblazer basketball games & I just want to watch E News! Luckily, as we have been learning more about the features of our system, we no longer have to worry about hogging the remote! I just figured out that we are able to stream every channel live with our current XFINITY system – a crucial feature that I learned Google Fiber doesn’t offer - straight from our devices!

Despite our sometimes very different TV watching preferences, with Cloud technology from X1, we stream channels live to our connected devices (I make him watch on his computer!) so we can both watch what they’d like. On week nights we are both pretty much camped out on the couch - me grading papers & catching up on my guilty pleasure shows, him following along with news/sports. While we may all have different favorite shows, it’s still great to spend time together (with the pugs squished somewhere in the middle). Our living room just became a multi-screen entertainment center!

Google Fiber doesn’t carry this capability, meaning you’re going to have to head to a different room or wait until everyone else is done with the TV to watch your shows. If you love live tweeting (and hate spoilers!) like I do, you’re always going to want to watch live!

To learn more about these & other amazing XFINITY features that we have been testing in our home, head to their live streaming FAQs.

clutch: convertible "Carly" purse c/o Gigi New York (can also be worn as a shoulder/crossbody bag)

shoes: DSW mules (sold out, shop this similar pair for under $100)

sunglasses: Carrera sunglasses c/o Sunglasses Shop

necklace: super old (from when I worked in a boutique during college), but I love how much it looks like this mega expensive version from Oscar de la Renta. If you are looking for a similar resin link necklace I am into this from Neiman Marcus Last Call & this from BaubleBar.

Perfect Pair

tank, sports bra, leggings, sneakers, undies: all purchased with a gift card provided by Kohl's.

My husband and I have been experiencing a major case of Spring cleaning - partly because we know that we will have to be packing up all of our belongings in our big move this Summer, & also because our 700 sq apartment just doesn't have much room for excess items.

This process involves removing any unused items & updating any old/broken/worn down belongings as well. I was making fun of him for having items in his wardrobe from high school & then realized that I shouldn't make too many jokes, as I too have been hanging on to some items for close to a decade.

One area that we both have admittedly been neglecting is the underwear drawer, so my February mission was to overhaul this particular area of my closet. Having the right base layer pieces is key to feeling comfortable & confident in your clothing, but if you are anything like me, since very few people see these items, it can be hard to drop major cash on your skivvies! I decided instead of holding on to all of the old undies that I feel uncomfortable in from the moment I slip them on, I threw away 90% of my current collection, & just started over! Fewer, better things people!

Luckily, this is the season for the Kohl's Semi-Annual Sale + I am giving away a $50 Kohl's gift card so that you can update your undies drawer too (be sure to scroll down to the bottom to enter)! It feels amazing to know that every pair of undies in my drawer will make me feel good & it's a total bonus that they look great too!

Not sure about what type of undies to purchase? My qualifiers are that they have to be cute, comfortable, and leave me able to worry about more important things than panty lines!

- For tight pants (like the workout pants above), I love the one size fits all lace thong. I purchased 3 pairs of the nude color option + a couple of colorful pairs as well! If you are not a fan of lace, this seamless + tagless style manages to achieve super minimal coverage without compromising comfort!

- Looking for more coverage (under loose skirts & dresses)? I wear this hipster style. Its motto is no wedgies, no worries. Sign me up!

- Wanting to spice things up a little? This lace tanga style is cheeky & available in lots of fun colors!

Find all the styles that are right for you, whether you are looking for no panty lines, thongs, boyshorts, or shape wear, at the Kohl's Semi-Annual panty sale!

Shop the Semi-Annual Sale using code INTIMATES10 (valid 3/3-3/15) for $10 off of $40. The sale ends March 23rd.  And enter to win a $50 gift card to Kohl's through the giveaway widget below. A random winner will be selected Monday March 7th.
