dirty hands

Ok, I have learned my lesson. Working around children is dirty, regardless of your intentions. I swear, I simply walk close to a 7th grader & my clothes instantly have mysterious stains on them. I loved wearing this outfit to work, but not only were my feet crying by the end of the day, this whole thing is now bound for the dry cleaners. Back to the drawing board for finding my teacher style!

This dress is my ultimate work-to-play piece. I wore it to teach all day & then to the Dillard's handbag event I hosted at night. I'm still teaching in heels, but all the veteran teachers are telling me that that will end soon… I guess only time will tell.

Also, I'm going to go ahead & warn you guys that I might be absent from social media, blog commenting, or everyday updates over here for the next couple of weeks. We are now 25 sleeps out from the wedding & I am trying to enjoy these last few days as much as possible while getting all the things on my giant to-do list crossed off as well. I don't want to wish away any of these precious moments!
