On the 4th day of glitter - I bring to you, the fabulous sequin skirt (X4)!
I feel a little bit like a fake myself since I don't yet own one myself (keyword: yet), but these ladies & their genius sequin styling has me ready to jump in & get finally make that purchase!

A sequin skirt is on my wishlist as well! But you missed my favorite sequin skirt look: paired with a plaid flannel button-up and a sparkly necklace. I think it's just a great unexpected mix. Oh, and I would pick #2 also :) Go for it!

ReplyDeleteThe gold Zara skirt Audrey and Andy are wearing was my favorite last year and I am still crazy about it but it was too short for my age. I was able to thrift a really nice Ann Taylor black sequin skirt that I wore to parties and rocked for fun with a chambray and boots!! You should definitely pick up a nice one, I think you'll find that it will be a closet staple for years to come even after the "sequins for day" trend wears off (especially at the holidays).

Agreed! I think sequin pieces in classic cuts (a tank, pencil skirt) are definite closet staples - That's awesome you found such a nice one thrifting (I need to get better about checking out my local thrift stores for sure!)

I rock sequins all year 'round! I left all my sequin skirts in Sydney so will need to get my mother to ship them over as I don't think I will be back in town as soon as I thought I would. Missing my burnished gold sequin skirt! x

ReplyDeleteI don't have a sequin skirt either. I'm eyeing a sequin pencil skirt because I think it makes it a little more conservative and fitting of my style. However, that tribal print one would be pretty awesome if I could pull it off.
