When Sarah, of Sarah's Real Life, told me about her "Take One, Pass it On" outfit remix challenge, I was so IN!
You know I love a good wardrobe remix (hello 30X30 that I can't get enough of), & this is a fun remix that can be kept up for as long as you like.
The "rules":
Day 1 - pick out an outfit just like you normally would.
Day 2 - take 1 item from the first day’s outfit & mix it into a new outfit.
On the following days, you take a different item from the previous day’s outfit & wear it again in a different way. And so on & so on....
Seriously, this just gives me justification for throwing my clothes on a chair (ok, on the floor, let's be honest) to be picked up and remixed again the next day!
Want to see more "take one, pass it on" remixers? My friends AJ (AJ Wears Clothes) & Franziska (Franish) are also rocking some outfit remixes. Or check out Sarah's Real Life Facebook page!
P.S. Don't forget to enter the fabulous Lendperk month of unlimited dresses giveaway { here } - winner announced on Tuesday!
sounds like a very cool idea :)
ReplyDeleteI might have to try this challenge myself! love that skirt on you! xo

I'm so glad you're joining in! And honestly, I had not even noticed that you already started! But that just proves my hypothesis that you can wear the same piece of clothing 2 days in a row, and if you really challenge yourself to make it totally different, no one will notice! (not even really astute people like me...doy) :)

This is such a fun idea! I'm exactly like you–I have a bad habit of tossing my worn clothes on the floor (eek!), so maybe trying this out would get me to change that!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a very interesting idea, i think i might also participate in this Take one, Pass it on remix on my blog, thanks for the idea ;)

Ah, so many things for me to love in this post: striped blazer, mint jeans, ivory blouse, wedges, sequin skirt. I'm also loving the "Take One, Pass it On" idea. Especially if it allows me to never hang any of my clothes up. Great idea.

I really like the remix idea! It's perfect for my weeks of travel... I kind of have no choice then haha
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of this challenge. I borrowed a similar skirt from Land's End from Gwynnie Bee and LOVED it. I gold sequins mixed with the western-y boots is such a great combo!

I know right!? Lands End has a new brand, "Canvas", that is very J.Crew-looking, but for great prices!

ReplyDeleteI am loving this idea - I may have to jump on the bandwagon next week. Also, I die for that skirt. You're making me miss all the sparkly pieces I left in Sydney. I think my mother needs to ship my Summer stuff to me yesterday...
