please pause for cute

Sorry, no "fashion" post this morning, but I DO have a healthy serving of cute to serve up!
Ty, Doug & I drove to Kentucky yesterday to meet this sweet 7 month old little girl, that I swore we were not bringing home with us... we all know how that story ends!
Before sundown we were headed back to Nashville as a family of 4.
Meet our new addition - Miss Scout
Doug is working on getting his role of "big brother" figured out.
"You mean sisters aren't for sitting on?"
These two might literally kill me of cute overload!
They are of the same bloodline, & seeing their minute similarities is so fun!
I get lost in dog pedigrees, but Doug's mom is Scout's grandmother, so I think that makes them cousins?
I'm calling this holding hands! They are still figuring out their friendship, but I think we are going to make it!

  8. They aren't quite BFFs yet, as they are still figuring out this new dynamic in the house, but they are warming up to each other, & being quite the cute cuddlers. We are hopeful that this will help ease Doug's separation anxiety - we work long hours as grad students & were starting to feel guilty!

  40. Ok i'm in TN as well (Chattanooga) and I have been considering a pet pug for years. Still not at a point where I could give a fur baby the perfect home, so I'm still waiting, but I would love to find out where breeder you babies came from! I was convinced I'd have to go deep into NC to find one.

  41. Oh my gosh Jessica - I don't know how I missed this! They are both precious!!!! Before we adopted Charlie, to be honest I didn't understand the appeal of pugs. But in the few weeks that we've had him, he has totally converted me to pug lover extraordinaire! He is 30 lbs of lapsitting hilariousness and now I can't imagine ever being without one. Also - I found this video making the rounds on Facebook and I think you'll appreciate it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iVc-Z8yFYW8

  42. Those pugs sure do know how to squeeze their squishy little faces in to your heart don't they!? I can totally appreciate a dog who's only mission in life is to sit on my lap, cuddle, and lick my feet! Good to hear that Charlie is settling in quite well, and I am headed to check out that video now! I spend many a Saturday morning procrastinating going to work by watching YouTube videos of pug puppies instead! xx

  43. Oh my goodness! They are so cute! I also have a pug and they are the sweetest little cuddle bugs! Blogging and pugs seriously meant to be! There should be a blogger and pug community because there are so many of us out there! Super excited that I found your blog! Can't wait too see what's to come!
