{ What I Wore: denim vest c/o Chicnova // Old Navy tee // thrifted Calvin Klein skirt (love this one!) // Converse sneakers // sunglasses c/o FantaEyes // Nisolo tote } |
I'm just as shocked as you are, I have nothing to say today!
So I will just leave you with a question that has been weighing heavy on my mind lately:
what do you want to be when you grow up?
Great skirt! love the way you styled it!

You are so cute. I love that outfit.
ReplyDeleteAs for "what do you want to be when you grow up" question: I am thinking a few things. One is a Marine Biologist. Two is a Meteorologist and the last one is my own Business. Yup. I am multitalented.
Best skirt ever! And in response to your question, is it bad that I'm 26 and literally have no idea? QUARTER-LIFE CRISIS YAY!
ReplyDeleteThat second picture! looks beautiful. I love the polka skirt :)
ReplyDeleteLove the flowy skirt turned casual with your comfy t and cute kicks. As for what I want to be when I grow up? I want to be happy : )
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I love how you styled this with your Chucks!
ReplyDeleteI'm a social worker but I also dream of opening my own clothing boutique. :)

You're so cute Jessica! I love the sweet dots + fun denim jacket. I always wanted to be a good mommy/housewife when I grew up... as unexciting as that sounds!

Ok this outfit...YES! I seriously need a jean jacket, Jess!! I always used to say "wedding planner", but now with pinterest, I'd think that'd be way too much pressure...don't you think?!

Did you redo your hair? It looks so vibrant and pretty! :).....I want to be a wedding & event planner as a career. I want to be an accomplished artist (not necessarily in profit, but in touching lives) and a published author. I want to be a wife, the kind that cleans and cooks and takes care of her husband, and maybe even a mommy. I want to be strong and happy and carefree.
ReplyDeleteOooh I have a very similar skirt and never thought to pair it with my denim vest! I will have to try that because it looks SO cute on you!
ReplyDeleteAnd - I think I just had a weird realization that I am already a grown up and in my chosen career path. WHAT JUST HAPPENED.
Love this with the chucks!

Um, & that is exactly where I am lady... so I have zero advice, except for do what you love, we don't have enough time on this world to spend it being unhappy!
ReplyDeletexx
Amen to that!
ReplyDeletexx
Thanks lady! I worked retail & loved it, a clothing boutique of your own would be SO fun!
ReplyDeletexx
Totally not un-exciting - that is definitely a challenging & admirable job! One that I wouldn't mind having myself one day!
ReplyDeletexx
Thanks lady - you def need a denim jacket! As someone currently wedding planning, Pinterest is a blessing & a curse, but I have learned so much & think it would be so much fun to help future brides!
ReplyDeletexx
Thanks lady, these pictures are actually from a few weeks ago when I had the color freshened up :) Your hopes & dreams are truly beautiful, I hope you get to realized them all! Strong & happy & carefree... I like the sound of that!
ReplyDeletexx
hahaha, best response ever: "what just happened"!? You are a real person now!
ReplyDeletexx
Thanks lady! Just freshened up the color :)

I certainly do love twirling! About the blush, I once read a quote that blush is instant pretty, & I have to say that without it I look like a zombie, so I would have to agree. For most every day I use the original Bobbi Brown shimmer brick + an ancient shade of Estee Lauder "blush all day" (I used to work at a department store that sold it, the color is "pink sand")

Thank you!! <3
ReplyDeleteI am trying. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOH gosh I wish I knew! I graduated a year ago and still have no idea. Well, I guess I'd like to own my own business. My boyfriend and I are starting an online jewelry store so we're hoping that takes off and we're able to make a living off that someday!
