In things that are weird:
Last night I had a dream in smell-o-vision. Seriously, I woke up & the smell was still so strong, long after I had forgotten what the dream was even about. It was the smell of the spray that I used to scrunch my hair back in the Summer of the perm... & it took me right back to that Summer. That Summer was special, on a warm camp night in the heart of the Texas Hill County I had my first kiss... & then we danced to Jack Johnson's "Flake". ah, young love!
Crazy how I can still remember that smell & I am right back as a twitterpated girl, wearing ties as belts, sneaking off to get "cokes" with Wade, during one of my last Summers at Mo Ranch. Oh of the mysteries of the human brain.
In things that are less weird:
This Fringe & Lace circle skirt is not only super flattering (my thighs are an area of self-consciousness for me), but goes easily from tough girl glam to comfy chic weekend wear.
You know what that means, it's time for the MidWeek Mixup!
See the weekend look by popping over to the Fringe & Lace blog!

That skirt is soooooo cute! And may I say your legs look great in it! I love both ways you styled it - knocked it outta the park!
ReplyDeleteI haven't smell-o-vision dreamed but throughout my entire pregnancy I've had SUPER vivid dreams. Many to the point that whatever I was feeling in the dream I'd wake up feeling the same thing for hours after (emotionally or physically). I had my first dream about labor the other night & was seriously uncomfortable for the first couple hours I was awake! Definitely not looking forward to that part of this process! :-)
Gorgeous, I LOVE this skirt!
ReplyDeleteyour hair: amazing
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anna, can we all talk about your hair for a minute?! It looks fab! I assume this is the same day I saw an Insta-snap of your blowout adventure?!

Great outfit! I am pretty sure I haven't had the pleasure of smell-o-vision dream. I did have a very vivid dream that I accidentally started running in a marathon and came in 2nd place. I actually woke up late for work but felt so good that I was running so quick. It must be my subconscious telling me to start telling for my next race.

Thanks lady! But alas, I can take zero credit for the hair. I would have to grow at least 4 more hands to do this myself, all credit goes to the wonderful blow out girls!

My secret - blow outs! I can see how those things can become addicting!
