Happy September!
This month I had so much fun testing out some of the big trends for Fall including:
I also enjoyed traveling to France, hosting some fabulous giveaways for my lovely readers (YOU!), picking up a piece that I have been on the hunt for, hosting amazing guest posters, and transitioning my summer clothes to Fall
9 months in, and my resolutions are going ok, but have definitely been a huge learning experience too!
Traveling caused my spending and eating goals to be thrown out the window... hurmph!
While Ty and I have been trying to get into P90X, we haven't gotten into a routine yet (i.e. more than 3 days straight)... but I have did actually enjoy it while we were doing it... and maybe once travel/wedding season is over, we can get into more of a habit... always a reason to procrastinate, right!?
The other resolution that has been nagging me is my plan to learn how to sew this year. Unfortunately my machine is infinitely complicated... I know that if I could just get that needle threaded, phenomenal things could be created... just. need. to. get. over. that. hump!
How has your September been?
Trying any new trends for Fall?
Making a second go at your resolutions?
Spill!
xx

I loved your September outfits--great roundup! I wish I could sew too, it's something I've been wanting to learn for a while but haven't really made time to do. I even have a sewing machine (it was my HIGH SCHOOL graduation present from my mom) it's sad that I never use it!
ReplyDeleteAmazing month of outfits! You always look so chic :)
ReplyDeleteGreat looks! The sixth is my fav :)

Great looks! I've been wanting to purchase something in the wine color for this season.
ReplyDeleteGreat roundup! Loving the peplum, leather trends and that camo jacket is fantastic too. I've been into these trends, especially anything leather/faux leather!

i am so glad that i'm not the only one who isn't learning to sew for a simple reason like that. i can't figure my bobbin out, so i just don't sew. pathetic, i know...i want to learn!!
ReplyDeletenice round up! I am obsessed with the leather pleated skirt!!
ReplyDeleteWow, good for you on the P90X! I used to do CrossFit, and know how hard that routine is. Do you like it? After all of this queso dip and margaritas..I might have to give it a try too!
ReplyDeletePS Loved your wardrobe staples list. I think you hit every nail on the head. Wait, was Chambray shirt on there? That's one of my staples. Have a great weekend! :) Amanda
When I actually do do the P90X, only a handful of times so far, I really like the routines and the way my body feels after, I just need to work on getting into a routine and doing it everyday no matter what!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, chambray shirt is def on my list. I love that shirt probably more than any other in my closet right now, but I was trying to come off fair and balanced so the other shirts don't get jealous, and it put it at the very bottom of my photo collage. haha!
Have a great weekend too!
