{ What I Wore: J.Crew ikat button down + dress // Nisolo tote // Michael Kors watch (similar for under $20) // Target sandals } |
Two separate people pulled the "you look tired" line yesterday at work.
I get it. The bags under my eyes are making me look like a zombie.
So I am just going to say this before I tuck myself into bed:
When I am sleep deprived (thank you Scout the Pug) my ability to get dressed goes on autopilot.
So knotting my collection of button downs + tiny wedges is my current outfit equation.
It also helps that these were already on the floor from the day before.
What is your current outfit equation?
Anyone else obsessed with knotting everything?
How cute is this? I have recently loved tying up my button ups too! Such an easy way to make a dress into a skirt!
ReplyDeleteTired or not you look amazing , love the look.

This look great and the "you look tired" comments are the worst! For the record this blue is amazing on you. My all back outfit is usually a cardigan, top, and pants of some kind. Boring.

I have that shirt! Aaaand I may or may not be wearing a knotted button down right at this moment (a plaid one though). Now go take a nap.

I HATE when people say "you look tired"! Obviously we already know this, we don't need to hear it from others! I love this color and the fun pattern of the top!

You look adorable–I love the look of knotted button downs, especially over dresses. And isn't the "you look tired" comment the worst. Every time I get that I want to just yell–"WHY YES I AM, THANK YOU!"
ReplyDeleteGreat colors! Love the knotted top :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, such a rude comment when people say you look tired which really means they think you look like crap! Such a pretty ikat print!

I hate the "you look tired"...I get it ALL the time. I think mine has to do with not wearing lipstick all the time (and of course the bags that won't go away). Love the blue with your hair!

To answer your question- YES I am obsessed with knotting everything! I have yet to see someone this does not look good on. And "fit to be tied" sounds so cute and Southern (btw- I had never heard that phrase until I moved to Nashville) that I could've never guessed it's a tired day!

Having lived in the South my entire life it has been so funny finding out which of my sayings are "Southern" from my fiancé who is originally a West Coaster! Let's just say I have a lot of strange ones from my grandmother! haha
