September 2012 Budget

First off, I just want to say WOW & THANKS! September was quite the month of growth for my little blog (WOW), and you guys are the best. I seriously smile at every comment and interaction that I have with each one of you (THANKS), and it makes me happy every day that I started this endeavor

Ok - now I have to make a confession... Sticking to my clothing budget is DANG hard (see: July, August)

This month I blew it, but I have legitimate excuses... I swear!

Sole Society Shoes – end of Summer BOGO sale, 2 for $49.95

J.Crew  Factory striped blazer  $58.50

  J.Crew White Blythe silk button down $82.00

ShoeDazzle Cap top flats $17.00 (using coupon codes)

Zara Tweed Jacket $100 (souvenir from France)

Total $307.45

I would consider all of my purchases during the month of September to be "closet staples" and quality goods that I LOVE and will get much enjoyment from. The tweed jacket was my souvenir from France, and the shoes will be worn during my bestie's wedding festivities this coming weekend.

Using coupons was key this month - I got two pairs of heels for the price of one, picked up a pair of flats for almost half off, and scored my online J.Crew order for 25% off with free shipping (used a code found in their email newsletter) -- total savings of ~ $110.00 (!!!)

So I didn't blow it that much you say... oh yea, did I mention that I snagged the new iPhone 5 too? 
Luckily, I have been putting a little bit away each paycheck for the last few months (since my phone has been on its death bed) so my wallet isn't totally crying!
