Here are my favorite bloggers rocking the trend. I really enjoy that it can be a low risk way to also try out the crop top look too. And matched separates come in all silhouettes - mini skirts & midi skirt, pants, & even patterned suits.
So, is this a trend that you will try? Or one that you will pass?
I found so many fabulous examples, I just had to share them. Get your shop on girl:

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this trend on other people but hate it on myself.

I am a huge fan of ONE SUIT style. I like the suits with vertical lines, they tend to visually make me look taller and very chic. Zhanna, www.stylehenge.com
ReplyDeleteI also find that this trend is somewhat madening, however it would be a nice suit to have to wear together or mix up separately!

I haven't actually tried it but I think I would! I mean when you think about it, it's basically like wearing a dress, but you can split the dress in half which multiplies the remixing options.

I have not tried the matching separates myself, but seriously LOVE them.

I really love matching separates, even though I am really not a matchy match kind of girl. Something about it is really fun, plus you can do them together or separate and have so many options! Love all of these looks. I hope to get a matching set this spring.

I am sooo not a fan of this trend reappearing. I think matching separates were best left in the early 2000's. I can only hack it when they look like one cohesive piece and no one can tell they're two pieces.

I really like this trend, although am yet to find a pair of matching separates that I like, although I'm sure this won't last long! I like the fact that they're versatile and you can wear them together or mix and match with your wardrobe.

I am fan for others but not for myself....I don't think...it's a great street style/blog look, but not sure I would really wear something like this in my daily life...but never say never! :)
