{ What I Wore: shrug ℅ GroopDealz // J.Crew Factory tank // Old Navy jeans (all jeans currently on sale!) // Sole Society heels } |
Well, I'm at a loss. 70 degrees in February!? I am simultaneously thrilled & completely unsure of how to dress. Please excuse my scandalous exposed shoulders & toes, I couldn't keep them under wraps any longer! I honestly felt like the season police were going to arrest me for early bearing of skin. If it feels like Summer, is it ok to dress like it, even in Winter?
Yesterday was the first really SPRING day & I had to indulge myself - bust out the open toed shoes! (I would have worn a dress, but I can't remember the last time I shaved my legs… so there's that.)
There are a few key "transitional" pieces that are making this awkward weather pattern more bearable, including this super soft cream shrug from GroopDealz (I call it my cocoon). It was such a great price & I seriously wanted it in every color! In fact, there are quite a few GroopDealz pieces currently topping my translational closet wish list. But thing thing about GroopDealz, is that the items are so great, at such amazing prices (dealz…hardy har har) that you have to pounce on them when you see them, or miss out! Check out my favorite picks below:

I love your cocoon/sweater thing! That looks so comfy and like the perfect piece to wear on a spring day. We have had a nice warm up in temps too, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteGirl, SAME HERE. Ugh. It's been in the 70's all week, and suddenly all I see in my closet is long sleeves and sweaters.
ReplyDeleteSeriously loving those heels!!

Haha when I read the title of this post Im not going to lie I was basically like "HA! Nothing is seasonly appropriate" You however, pulled it off beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog and I love it! You're style is unique without being too crazy -- it's refreshing! Those shoes make you look about a mile tall! Jealous!

Oohh, that shrug looks absolutely perfect for spring -- great color and looks so utterly cozy!
ReplyDeleteCardigans are a staple, you can layer them or wear them with shorts, they are the best. You look gorgeous.

I wear cardigans all year round since it never really gets that cold in California. Your cocoon is so different and adds a great layer to your outfit.

Your shoes are so cute, but I'm not sure I could wear open toe shoes in February. Then again, it has only gotten as warm as 60 here. I love the rest of the look so I would have switched the heels for cute booties and be good to go!
