What are those things people in the Northeast are always talking about - Nor'esters? Pretty sure we had one of those this weekend - it was snowing, people were freaking out & I had an excuse to not take my wellies off for 3 days straight. Ok, so it was 36 degrees, no snow stuck around & all that.... but people were freaking out... About 99.99% positive we only have 1 salt truck in this town, so there actually is good reason to make a run on the grocery store.

In my book, if the weather is going to be dreary anyways, my as well spice things up with a little leopard!
I'm plan on wearing these boots for the rest of my life!
Look you can totally see a snowflake in this picture! (not pug hair on my clothes like usual!)
How's the weather in your neck of the woods?
What is your best trick for staying fashionable in the cold? Snow or not!
loving the boots with the coat! looks freezing though

Perfect look for cold dreary weather! Love the jacket!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! And you're lucky - it's 20 here today. Yep, March and 20. Where are you spring?!
ReplyDeleteWe had snow on Saturday too, but none stuck in Memphis. I wore my rain/snow boots all weekend. = )

Love the leopard coat and wellies, hope it warms up for you soon! It's been in the 70's all weekend here.

Hahaha, very nice. It is snowing here again today oh for like the 10th time... I think I have no idea. But I'm ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteLove your coat and boots!
My family lives in Nashville and they were so excited about the snow!!
ReplyDeleteI love those jeans, I always try them on at ON but they just don't fit me right!
Love your adorable green Hunters! I remember HUGE snow storms every weekend growing up. We wouldn't see the ground until May!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I wouldn't call anything a Nor'easter unless it drops at least 6 inches of snow! Your green Hunters are adorable!

Yeah, for some reason I live in maybe the only town in the Midwest that can't function when the flakes come. No pre-salting, no identifiable winter weather plan to speak of. Thank goodness it's almost spring! And now that I say that I've all but guaranteed us a blizzard... stay warm cutieface!
ReplyDeleteSamantha @ Sam ipsa Loquitur
Love the wellies and leopard! So cute! It's so funny how you guys are excited for the snow and here in the Midwest we are SO over it! Haha! We are wishing for spring!

Cute cold weather look Jess. It's getting warmer here in Nova Scotia... we're above freezing during the day, but we have a lot of snow left on the ground and dirty brown snowbanks. Not pretty!

that's crazy since i was in shorts and flip flops in texas! but you look adorable!
ReplyDeleteHelene in Between
I don't own a pair of Hunters, but they are on my list for next year- I love your green pair!
ReplyDeleteAhh love this outfit! The leopard coat with jeans is awesome - I can't wait to pull mine out again this year :)
ReplyDeletelife-etcblog.blogspot.com.au
Today when I woke up it was 18 degree outs. They are saying today will be the coldest day for the week. Love your leopard jacket
ReplyDeleteAh! Your boots are the best! I love this outfit. I have such a crush on outfits with black turtlenecks, too. Something about them just makes me all warm and happy inside (I'm a dork, yes). I'm jealous of how great you look in those jeans, too. I've tried them on several times and can't get them to fit nicely at all, which is SUCH a bummer because they come in a million awesome colors and prints!! I'll admire them from afar on you :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous coat!

Adorable! That jacket is so fabulous. I remember one Nashville storm when I was living there that seriously shut the entire city down for an entire day. Some people were stuck in their cars for 8 hours. And I swear it only snowed a couple inches. :-S Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how people freak out when the weather changes a bit! lol
ReplyDeleteCute look! Loving that beanie!

This is a great bad weather outfit! It's comfy and practical, but still has some personality.
ReplyDeleteWe totally agree -- nothing makes a dreary day better than a fabulous outfit! It is snowy and 20 degrees here in Iowa...aka sweaters on sweaters on sweaters.

Looking adorable in the crappy weather! As a 10-year resident of Indiana, I would like make fun of you. BUT as someone who grew up in North Carolina, I'll give you a break. :)

ooh girl, come up to Wisconsin - we have snow for DAYS. We're getting another 6 inches tomorrow. As you can imagine, I'm thrilled.
ReplyDeleteNOT.
but seriously, love this green/leopard combo. adorable :)
I love your coat!! Too much fun! I have been wanting a pair of Hunter boots but just can't justify the price since I know it won't get much usage here in Sunny Souther California.

Well if you ever move, I highly recommend them. Very high quality, comfortable, and a classic style that will last the test of trends!

Booo! I am not a snow person, I appreciate the bright white blanket for about 1 day & then complain that it is so cold & wet! Good luck with that....
ReplyDeletexx
haha, I was making fun of myself in this post. In Nashville people can't drive in the rain much less when snow is "imminent"... I would love to live somewhere like NYC or Chicago, but just know that the cold winters would KILLLLLL me!
ReplyDeletexx
haha - around here schools close if the weather man even mentions snow any where around! My teacher friends love it!
ReplyDeletexx
So true! I have had to abandon my car on the 5 min drive home from Vandy because the roads were so blocked... and it hadn't even started snowing yet! INSANE!
ReplyDeletexx
I actually am super surprised by how much I LURVE these pants. When I first put them on, I hated them, but they have stretched out to fit my body perfectly, & I dare not machine dry them at this point. But interestingly enough I ordered two other pairs of this same style that were completely OFF - I sent them back immediately. So it might just be hit or miss with Old Navy quality - I lucked out with this pair for sure!
ReplyDeletexx
Boo! Hope you are staying warm girlie!
ReplyDeletexx
We are at the time of year when our weather patterns are similar despite being on opposite sides of the world (my mind was just blown a little bit by writing that!)
ReplyDeletexx
They come HIGHLY recommended from me! I found mine for less on eBay (FYI!)
ReplyDeletexx
Oh Texas! I envy you right now, but lets talk again come mid May when it is glorious here, & you guys are already sweating it out ;)
ReplyDeletexx
Getting warmer & just above freezing do NOT go together in my mind! That is crazy!! Hope you are staying warm pretty lady!
ReplyDeletexx
Only excited if it comes, is pretty, and then goes away immediately! Come on Spring!
ReplyDeletexx
No whammies, no whammies, no whammies. Ok, I reversed your blizzard luck, you're welcome
ReplyDeletexx
haha, I'm ready for Spring too! 1 snow a year is fine by this Southerner!
ReplyDeletexx
Okay, I would have NEVER thought one person could look so freaking adorable in green Hunters and a leopard coat...but girl, YOU DO!!! This is such a fun and funky look....you can pull off anything!
ReplyDeleteThat is so bizarre! What a bummer, too...you think you have found the jackpot, and then...not so much!
ReplyDeleteI love Hunter Wellingtons and wear them all the time and seeing you with your Wellingtons on makes me very happy, you look really yummy.
