{ What I Wore: J.Crew baseball tee (similar) & factory crinkle skirt // Cole Haan Leather sneakers (similar) & crossbody purse (similar) } |
The days are longer, but my productivity couldn't be any less.
Not only have we Sprung forward, several other major events have come along to cause a "time change" in my life.
1. See those cute bags hanging out under my eyes, those are puppy-induced.
Early morning potty breaks, extra play time, learning to sleep through the night...
I think we forgot what all of this was like with Doug the first time around.
2. Speaking of which, Doug was an only child for the first 3 & a half years of his life & a very spoiled one at that. So now that puppy #2 is around all the time, I try to take Doug out on long walks by himself. These Doug Dates are nice for the both of us & the adjustment is getting better everyday.
3. Ever since Ty & I got engaged my new favorite past time is a tie between staring at him & at my new ring... um, yea not the most productive activities!
4. Wedding season is upon us again, lots of seeing old friends but also many weekends out of town & away from my to-do list
So Spring has Sprung & so has my Spring fever.
I have been ignoring replying to your always wonderful comments, visiting my blog roll, commenting on your inspirational posts, & generally putting my all into this bloggy-blog of mine.
Thank you for your love on our engagement announcement & being the best readers ever (seriously, you bring a smile to my face daily!)... I am going to be back to my old self soon
Anyone else suffering from a case of Spring fever out there?
What are the causes of a "time change" in your life?
I have been wanting to pick up a light baseball tee for spring. I absolutely love yours!

Very cute and simple! I love throwing on a baseball tee for casual weekends, but I rarely think to pair it with a skirt!

You have so much going on in your life, but you handle it with such grace. Cute outfit! Cole Haan is a great brand, but are the sneakers comfy? I haven't worn leather sneakers in such a long time.

I definitely know how you feel. For about three days after DST starts again, I feel so productive. It's still light out when I get home! I can do laundry, and groceries, and clean, look how many hours there are in a day!...and then after a week of that I realize I'd still rather spend that time watching tv with my roommates or going to happy hour than actually being productive. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThey are comfy now... but did require a bit of breaking in. The leather is nice and soft, so after wearing them with thick socks for a while it molded perfectly to my feet. I had some thick canvas Coach sneakers for a while, and could never break them in!

We just went through the new puppy stage and I made sure to give my first baby lots of extra love. In fact, he still gets it. I probably need to pay attention to the new one too. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all your fun new life changes!

Such a cute outfit, love the mix of the baseball tee with this red skirt! :) And also, it happens, I have had some good blog days over the past couple weeks and some bad ones. I always feel bad when I don't make it to other people's blogs and I know I am always missing out on so much greatness! Congrats again on the engagement... and YES wedding season is upon us! 5 weddings this year!
ReplyDeleteYou may be tired from puppy duties....but you look adorable!

The best part of spring and the season change for me is the ease of getting dressed. This outfit here is so adorable and easy, I love it!

I think the whole engagement and new puppy things are great excuses for being a bit out of synch! I also think it's just a change-of-seasons thing - I'm feeling the same too haha :)
