trends that make you go hmm... Spring (p)leather

Leatherette, pleather, vegan leather, faux leather - whatever you call it, this is a growing trend that is slated to still be "in" for Spring.
I have worn my pleated leather skirt with love all Fall/Winter long, so I am looking to grab a fun Spring colored (p)leather skirt to add to my collection!

    I don't think I could pull off a this cute look myself, though you sytled your pleated one so perfectly. I do think the soft pink one here is my favorite =)

    Jess, I like the dress the best! It might be a bit tricky to "soften up" but it's a fabulous color.

    Love the color and shape of the pink skirt. And also loved the black pleated one you wore a few posts ago. I may have to pick one up too for the springtime.

    Those are really cute. I think the shapes keep them from getting into scary 80s territory. I think I like the pink one best.

    fun trend! if i tried this, i'd probably go with a simple black skirt to start off before i tried to do a whole dress.

    After months of seeing amazing pleather skirts on the blogosphere I've finally found myself two(!!) and can't wait to wear them as the weather cools down around here - not sure about wearing them in spring though, a bit hot?

    I make sure any leather/leatherette items I purchase are the kind that can be dry cleaned (not PVC based) and have a lining that prevents sweaty-summer-thigh-sticking! Nobody wants that!
