when the living is easy

The weather has been teasing me for weeks, but it is NOW officially Summer! I don't actually get a summer vacation from school anymore (what the what grad school!?), but I do have plans to suck every last ounce of fun out of this summer... long days, warm weather, and good intentions...

Summer to do list:

- pick my own berries

- make homemade ice cream

- go to the drive in movies

- get out of the city to watch the stars

- swim in the lake (bonus: rent a party barge for the day!)

- learn to french braid my hair

- get a crawfish broil together!

    Hi Jess! I really want to go tubing down a river near my house this summer. And go to an outdoor music concert and sit on a blanket and listen with a glass of wine in my hand. Might be too specific but a girl can dream!

    Great summer images - I'm dying to get out of work and do something fun now! :) I definitely want to learn to french braid my own hair too, great to-do item. Other than that, a berry picking date with the hubby is also in my future, and doing picnics/dinner at the drive-in theater is always a summer fave!

    Mmm homemade ice cream sounds delish! I think I'd like to learn some new healthy sauce recipes, learn how to cook meat correctly, and visit my lil sister in Rhode Island =)

    Cooking/grilling meat is a summer necessity! And fitting in some family visits should be on my list too!

    I want to jump off that cliff - it looks SO beautiful! And I think it would be SO fun to go to a drive in movie - wish there was one of those around here :)

    I loooove summer, it's my fav time of the year! I have to remember to add the homemade ice cream one to my list. I made chocolate ice cream last summer and it was SO good!
