30 for 30: Fall 2012

Good afternoon!
I have decided to take a whirl on the 30X30 Challenge train again
Don't know what a 30X30 Challenge is, and want to learn allll about it? Check out this post from the beginning of my Spring 2012 30X30 Challenge, and the complete Spring 30X30 recap { here }

The basics: 30 pieces of clothing, 30 days, 30 outfits, and NO shopping (I know)

I have culled my 30 rockstar pieces of clothing, and it makes me so happy that my items for the next 30 days only take up {this much room}
I want to eventually do a 30X30 for every season, and am actually looking forward to trying my hand at a Fall Challenge. I am excited about boots + skinny jeans, skirts + tights, and trying out some new, colorful mixes!
Want to know what I picked to wear for the month of November?
Some are my comfort zone pieces (chambray anyone!?), but others I hope will stretch my go-to Fall style (bright bottoms, and prints)

{Pants}

{Skirts}
J.Crew purple pencil skirt // J.Crew olive green wool skirt // J. Crew red crinkle skirt {similar} // Storets Pleather skirt //  J. Crew floral skirt

{Shoes}

{Tops}
Gap Polka dot sweater // J.Crew Pink Sweater // J.Crew navy v-neck sweater // J.Crew chambray button down // J.Crew Purple Blythe blouse // EverLane tee // J.Crew blush v-neck sweater {similar} // H&M maroon sweater {similar} // UO plaid button down // Think Tank leopard top {similar}

{Jackets}

{Dresses}
Boutique black dress {similar}
Should surely be easy enough to get dressed in the morning with my sweaters out on top, and my shoes lined up below my dresser (and a helpful pug doesn't hurt!)

I hope you will follow along with my Fall 2012 30X30 challenge { here }
Any brave souls want to join me!?

  5. Oh I have ALWAYS wanted to do a 30 for 30 but I'm too scared...my clothes are like my children and not being able to give one of them attention would stress me out, I think. Can't wait to see what you mix and match and maybe that'll be enough to inspire me! Also, what a great way to save!

  7. Have fun!! I just did a fall 30x30 (http://www.ohshedabbles.com/tag/30-for-30/). It was way easier than my winter one, and I'm still having a hard time adjusting to all my other clothes! I look forward to seeing how you put all those great pieces together!

  8. I just finished my fall 30x30 ( http://www.ohshedabbles.com/tag/30-for-30/ ) and it was so much easier than my winter one last year! I really liked the pieces I chose. I feel like I'm still relearning to wear all my other clothes and it's taking me way too long to pick out what to wear. I can't wait to see how you remix all those fabulous pieces!

  11. I did one when I moved - it was a great way to force myself to pack everything else. The best part was that I didn't mind at all! Best of luck : )

  12. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing your outfits. Looks like you have some great items to choose from. I would totally love to give this a shot sometime but I'm so terrible at documenting my outfits.

  16. Hi! I think this is a really cool idea and actually 30 seemed like a little amount when I read it but visually seeing the pieces laid out makes me think like it's a pretty good number of items.  I love this idea!
