YES - for under $30 I got a tripod and a remote off of Amazon, totally beats a grumbling boyfriend! I like the remote because I can pick a spot to stand and then focus the camera for that specific point. Then I set the camera to take 10 self timer pictures in a row, and run back to the spot that is in focus and get my pose on... maybe I should do a post on this "technique" one day! ha
