Day 14: make it a double

I'm trying TWO new things in one outfit.... stop. the. presses.
{ What I Wore: J.Crew chambray shirt & olive wool skirt // Urban Outfitters plaid shirt // ShoeDazzle cap toe flats }
{ Get the look }
chambray shirt {$26.99} + plaid shirt {$19.99} + green mini skirt {$19.99} + black belt {$9.00} + cap toe flats {$29.99}
First, I am trying to continue enjoying my long hair by actually fixing it (before the my urges to chop it off take over) - this 'do is a half up with braids thing. Took about 4 minutes, and my hands didn't fall asleep - WINNING!

Second, I am wearing not one but TWO shirts. I have oogled at every way that Blair has rocked her double button downs { here & here to show off just a few }... but never thought I could pull it off. However, my need to get creative during my 30X30 Challenge finally gave me the courage... and I can't lie, I'm hooked!

  1. You had me at "Blair"!! You look amazeballs... and now my little brain is smoking thinking of all the button downs I have in my 30 for 30. You just gave me another week's worth of outfits :)

    ALSO you're only allowed to cut your hair on the condition that you give it all to me once you're done. Kthanks.

  7. This looks awesome on you! I've tried it once, but it was one of those "nahhh, ridiculous" and you take it off right away moments. I might have to revisit, because it's such a great way to stretch your wardrobe!

  10. You are just getting more and more adorable. And I like your long hair. I've been debating on whether or not to chop my hair off too, but in the end, laziness wins and I'm just leaving it. Love the double shirts! :)

  11. I know what you mean, i keep wanting to chop all of my hair off! (If only short hair wasn't so darn cute!)  I really like the little braids, it's cute and looks really easy. I'm a sucker for any other with a denim shirt, I love how you left yours untucked and just belted it.

  13. Love the double shirts, what a fantastic idea! Super cute and it looks really warm, which is good because it is getting chillllyyy over here. Can't believe you went without tights! Also, love your hair like that! Good for you for stylin' it. I'm loving your gift guides too Jessica, the mom one was really sweet. I would actually love most of those things myself! Where's the gift guide for me?

  16. I love that you layered the collars too! I always have difficulty with too many things around my neckline, but it works!

    I braid my hair almost every day...and it's enough to remind me that I'm desperately waiting for the front pieces of my hair to grow out...even though I want to cut it constantly. Don't worry, you're not the only grass-is-always-greener hair enthusiast!
